Hello fellow divers!

I'm looking for a dive buddy and/or a dive group I can latch onto for a few days while staying on Ambergris Caye. I'll be arriving 6/6/08 and leaving 6/11/08, diving for four days 6/7-6/10. I know this is 6 months away, so please forgive my overly organized planning tendencies:) I haven't decided where I'm staying or who I'm diving with yet, so I am quite flexible on that. Ideally, I'm hoping the four days I'm there somehow magically line up with a dive group that has an odd number of people that I could partake in a group discount with, or perhaps there is another solo diver looking for a reliable buddy that week:)

I've had mixed experiences when showing up to a dive op solo and pairing off with the odd man out or the DM, so I'd rather try to meet up with someone that I can rely on. I know beggars can't be choosers, but ideally I'm looking for someone who has some diving experience, lasts the full dive time on a tank, similar skills to me (not necessarily AOW), similar diving interests, etc.

I'm from San Francisco (by way of NY), 26 y.o. female, advanced NAUI cert, logged about 60 dives, friendly, easy going, fun, and safe in the water. Not to say that I'm not safe on land too, but that's probably not as important in this forum:) As my buddy, you get unlimited use of my de-fog and the promise that I will never leave you stranded in a swim-through.

Thanks for reading! Fingers crossed!

All diving here is accompanied group diving, so whether you're "buddied up" is of little consequence. Have no worries about turning up alone at a dive centre - you'll still get good and safe dives.
