I am looking for a copy of the latest Trimix/Technical firmware upgrade for the Scubapro Galileo Sol v1
Currently I have version 2.1 installed, but I am a tec instructor and planning to start my trimix course soon. I can however no longer find the tec/trimix firmware on scubapro's site.
Does it seem like a good idea to do complex technical dives using an obsolete, unsupported computer running a weird undocumented modification of the Bühlmann ZH 16 algorithm?
How does one become a "tec instructor" without prior experience using trimix?

was ist bad then - how many died that days wearing that computer?
Yes, newer Compis have more and faster processors - but that one was state of the art... still working and sturdy..
And Scuabpro - regarding the manual - modified the ZHL16 middle compartments more conservative... so - safety first?

You get this Compi for 1xx $ compared to a 1xxx Ratio OSTC, Shearwater etc... ?

Hello, my name is Nicolas, I am French. I have been diving occasionally for 25 years, but for the past 5 or 6 years, I have been practicing more regularly and seriously. I have obtained my CMAS 3*, my TDI Extended Range certification, and I am planning to do my Trimix training in a month.

I am currently using a multi-gas recreational dive computer, but I am considering buying a second-hand Galileo Sol and adding the Trimix function. Unfortunately, I can't find this firmware. That's why I'm reaching out in this discussion—if anyone has it, that would be really great.

Thanks!
