I may have an opportunity to be in Cabo San Lucas in August and wanted some feedback from those who have dived there. Has anyone ever stayed at the Cas Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa? Which dive operator would you recommend in Cabo?

Thanks in advance.

The Resort is close to the Beach but lots of time share hawkers there.
I dive with Baja Dive Nice big boat, small groups, great Dive Masters and all the safty gear. There are lots of new Shops but Baja Dive has been there about 14 years.
I like getting the same great service every time I Dive.

Thank you, diverdude09. I'll check out Baja Dive.

August in Cabo should have warm water, hi 70s low 80s. The vis is just ok but sometimes it's stellar. I hope you get to see the sea lions, it's so much fun when they play with you. I use Amigos Del Mar most of the times I've been to Cabo. They have a large trimeran with lots of places to put your gear and walk around the boat, the rental gear is in good shape, and the DMs know the dive sites and are safety conscious. If you get a chance to go to Cabo Pulmo, it's worth the ride there.
What ever dive op you use, take a look at their boat on their website, a lot of the OPs use a water taxi (no oxygen, safety gear or place to keep your stuff.)
Have fun.

Hi. I havent stayed in Casa Dorada.I like the smaller Hotels Like Siesta Suites and Mar De Cortez.
I have been Diving with Baja Dive for years. They have a 40 foot Boat with all safty gear Co2, first aid,And it has a full hard top for summer Diving this a must.
The crew always helps me with my gear and carries it to and from the boat and even cleans and drys it for the next days Diving.
I like seeing the same crew every time I Dive they remember me and my needs.
As a Women Diver its nice to have the extra help. I have never seen Dive Masters that a so helpfull any where.
