Looking for buddy/group for Florida Cavern diving March 10-14,2025

Hello fellow Florida divers!

I will be in Tampa area with family the week of March break 10-14. Looking to explore some caverns day trip, driving distance from Tampa ideally max. 3 hours away. Fun diving only, nothing too crazy.

About myself:
Not cave certified but Trimix technical diver cold water. I would bring my regs and wetsuit but would need to rent equipment tanks, BCD, etc.

You might check on some of the Facebook groups - Florida Springs Dive Club, Scuba Monkey Dive Club, It’s Dive O’clock somewhere in central Florida, etc.

If you’re looking for tech rentals, Extreme Exposure and Cave Country (in High Springs) should have you covered. Most of the local dive shops also do guided dives if you can’t find a buddy - “Just Wet Rocks” specializes in cavern/cave guiding, and I like Spring Run Diving too for guided cavern dives. If it’s open again by the time you visit, you definitely want to check out Buford.
