I remember reading an old thread about scuba instruction and someone posted about how they teach an OW course. Like swimming with goggles and snorkel to stop from breathing through your nose. There was a whole breakdown on each confined and open water drills and skills.

Does anybody remember where this is? I tried searching but I do not even know the title. Hopefully there is someone who reads this that posted on that thread.

I am takingmy IDC in November and am just thinking of different scenarios.

Don't know if this will help, but I think it was a thread on designing the perfect OW class. Lots of input from Mike F., so maybe he'll add info to help you in your search.

I'm planning on doing the IDC in November and I'm starting to realize the gravity of it all.
