I went to UCONN as a grad student between 1988 -1994 .....got introduced to scuba diving there and had Josepd D. Kane (aka Jay Kane) for OW instructor....

He had a scuba shop at the Noank shipyard (RI?) at that time.....where we took off for dives around Fisher's Island, Onondaga Wreck, Martha's Vineyard ....did lobstering and "tautog" spearfishing with him too.

If anyone know him, I'd appreciate any contact info.....just want to say hello :)
