Thanks everyone.... I am the wife.
I will dive with the new reg for a bit to decide only 3 dives with it so far. It has the swivel and with the comfobite changed the way it sat in my mouth. any new equipment takes a bit of adjustment. I may be holding it more than I normally do my reg so a few dives to see. I teach for a living and can't affort a sore jaw. Reg's for ladies? Colour friendly for ladies.... give ME a BREAK! A black reg and a yellow occy please... lets leave the colour to the fish!
I do like the sounds of the Aqualung Mikron If all else fails maybe I will try to steal my husband's lol
Thanks for all you help folks!

The Wt of reg or size is the last thing to worry about,You want a good reliable reg that will do what you want it to do.
Cold water? Warm water only? Deep diving etc...
The hose routing and comfort of the second stage is really important.
most regulators come close to one another so try some out ,how does it fit in your mouth ?does it breathe the way you want it to?
Plus does its looks charge you up? its ok to have a little attitude when it comes to you dive gear.
Have fun ,dont limit your choices to size only.

A regulator formulated for women??? U GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! How do you make a gender specific reg?
I guess you leave out the puppy dog tails and throw in a little extra sugar & spice :D

My son dives with a Genesis, I can't remember the name. It is tiny, and light. But I don't like its fragile construction. The purge valve sticks if you pressed it too hard. It pops apart easily. The threads on the diaphram is whimsy.

I agree with what is posted above. Put a seacure mouthpiece on any large regs, and it is as stable as it gets, with no jaw fatigue. I would rather have a sturdy larger reg than a whimsy little reg. But outside of that, the genesis dives fine.
