Last year on Black Friday, I picked up a pair of gloves similar to the ones in the link below. They were the Aqua Lung Thermocline 3mm version. After two uses, they developed holes in them after about 2 months, so I exchanged them for another pair. This pair, now has developed another hole after no usage in water whatsoever.

So now I am looking for another pair, since these seem to be cheaply made. Anybody have any recommendations? I ended up getting both of these at a local Sports Chalet, so I'm just using the link to give a good description, so nothing on Scuba.com one bit.

Thanks!

Tommy D's has some 3mm or 5mm gloves for cheap. I have about 20 dives on them and they don't even look used at this point. HTH.

I have the Fourth Element 3mm as well and love them. Have about 40 dives on them so far and they show no sign of wear, though they have stretched a little.

I've worn them with my drysuit in California and my sharkskin in Curacao, and they've been great for both.

The New Subgear gloves are excellent!

The Henderson Hypestretch 7mm Neoprene gloves are excellent. They're very sturdy and allow for plenty of dexterity. They are probably the warmest neoprene gloves that I have used.

Thanks For all the advice. I'm a little partial to 3m gloves for the dexterity reasons. Do the 7m's work good when taking pics?

I use Henderson Hyperstretch 5mm Neoprene gloves. I've been in 40 degree F water and my hands were not cold. The dexterity is good and they are very comfortable. I can take photos while wearing them. I can also thread #24 line through lift bag eyelets without too much trouble.

I would recomend the BARE Palm 3MM gloves or the Oceanic Mako's both are great very druable gloves. I really like the BARE ones, I dive with them myself and use them all the time. We have them in-stock and they cost $32.95. You can check them out at Bare Sportswear Corp.
