One of our customers brought in a Poseidon "Biscaya" BC with a broken inflator. (an old discontinued item)
The threads of the "inflator dump valve nut" (where it attaches to the bladder) appear to be slightly different than standard run of the mill inflators (16 threads per inch on the Poseidon as opposed to the "standard" 18 threads per inch).
The thread measurement is just approximate; the only thread gauge I have here is for pipe.
Might anyone happen to have a used (or new) inflator or BC that can be scavenged, or suggest a place to look? An inflator dump valve or an entire inflator would do the trick.
We've got quite a few spare inflator assemblies here but the dang thread pitch is so close but no cigar.
I hate to try to sell the guy a new BC without turning over all the rocks & peeking in every corner.
