Hey everyone my good friend that i have always dived with cannot dive anymore and I am looking for a new dive buddy. Im from Columbus, Ohio I am 24 years old and I am a firefighter/medic. Basically I dive at the ohio quarries and the tropics anyone that would be interested send me a pm or a post. thanks everyone

I'm in north central Ohio (Bucyrus) and always looking for another dive partner. So far this summer, I've been to Portage, Circleville Twin Quarries, Lakeview Park. Also usually visit Gilboa and waiting to put White Star on the list.
Saturday I'll be in that "other" state north diving in Lake Huron.

I am always up for diving, I have been in almost all the quarries around here. I am 27 currently in school at OSU, did the military thing Marine Corps and Army National Guard. How often do you like diving?

I moved this thread to the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew section, that's where most of the Ohio divers hang out although some dive with the Kentucky Piranha Patrol as well.
We're headed to Tobermory next week, you're welcome to join us! There's a few people headed to Portage this weekend. I usually announce when I'm headed to the quarries as well...of course you have to be immune to being embarassed when people see you with someone wearing rabbit ears

a little biased are we afraid to admit that you might actually associate with people and Divers from MICHIGAN no where in that thread was any mention of any buddy from Michigan
I will be up at portage tommorow and saturday, Tobermory sounds interesting. The fall quarter starts Sept. 19th

Yeah what about the Michigan contingent? If you are going to mention the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew, we have more property bordering the Great Lakes than anybody. I notice that she didn't mention the Meet & Greet either. Of course she is probably in morning since you won't be there.

Hi.. I'm from NW Ohio and a newer diver.. Just let me know if you make it up this way. I'm new to this area and haven't dived at any of the local quarrys
Welcome, BGmark814 to ScubaBoard. If you live in BG, you should make Portage your second home....maybe your first! It is a nice quarry and so close for you, I'm jealous that you don't have the 65-70 mile drive that I have!
