Lookin for warmer water wing for my BP

+1 for the DSS 17# travel wing. I use the DSS LCD 20# wing for local S. Florida and carribean diving, and couldn't be happier.

+ another 1. Very happy with the DSS travel wing.

I have dove a bunch of different wings that are on the market. It maybe a little more money but for overall Quality, Balance & Control in the water the 30lbs Halcyon Eclipse wing is your best bet.

...all I can say is when's cold, I greatly prefer my long-sleved jacket BC.....

Not sure I am a true H diver........

Mine was used got the whole rig for $250........

Then I sold the ACB's pouches and put rigid D-rings and XS Scuba weight pouches on it.......

Worse even I dive Poseidon regs as my cold water setup.........

I think I found my Eclipse system for $620. The cinch is another $100. For the non adjustable version your looking at an extra 100-160$ vs. comparable DSS, oxycheq, DiveRite stuff. For some its worth it. As you found, there are alot of great used deals. I know someone who found a used Evolve wing for $200 in fantastic near new condition.

I bought my fiance the Oxycheq 18 pound wing for his birthday in 2008, and he adores it. Now I have an attack of the green-eyed monster and want one for myself, although I've also heard great things about DSS's 17 lb Torus wing. Not sure what to do when the time comes...to make the agony of choice even worse, Hollis is another alternative: I saw their 25lb wing in my LDS, which looks pretty nice.
