Thats what I am considering, BTW, what did you pay for it? Was it their so called authorized dealer? I ask because if my LDS is going to rape me on it, I am going to LP and go it alone.

The Ranger or the Air2? I bought both from scuba.com for the prices on LP's website. I wasn't all that pleased with scuba.com's service, though. If you're going to buy it online, buy it from Larry at scubatoys.com. He'll happily match LP's prices and you get the manufacterer's warranty and the right to bug Larry with any innane questions you have.

You may also see whether your LDS is willing to come closer to LP's prices. Mine is willing to wheel and deal quite a bit if pressed.

The air2. My lds is pretty firm with scubapro prices. Other stuff he is flexible with.

I acutally got the Tusa DuoAir, which I understand is the same as the air2 but for a few cosmetic items.

I think the measurement is of the hose itself, not including the elbow and inflator. So you probably have a 22" hose. I have a 16" hose that's a little too long. "A lot of people" are going to tell to get rid of the cable dump and get a plain elbow while you're at it. Out of curiousity, why you need such a long hose?

Ok, brought it back here. I have a habit of hijacking as if one brings it to a new post, someone always tells you there is a post on that particular subject already, anyway. The longer corregated hose idea is dead as is the air2. I am going the long hose primary and short backup. I am just deciding which reg to go with. I already have the scubapro s600/mk25 and am considering getting just the s600 as the backup. My LDS said they are available individually, a bit pricey, but available in stock.
