i was just wondering if you dive with trimix is it possible to extend your bottom time like you can with nitrox vs air?

Because the purpose of adding helium to the mix is to decrease narcosis, trimix is, intrinsically a "deep gas". Obviously as we increase depth we have to decrease the amount of Oxygen (FO2) in the mix rather than increasing it, as we do with EANx. Typically various trimixes are hypoxic, and as such, cannot be used to "increase bottom time" in the manner that EANx is.

What Chickdiver means is "No."
(You could concoct a hyperoxic mix that would do the job, and I see folks diving "triox" these days, but the basic premise of trimix is as Chickdiver says - reduced narcosis - and indeed, compared to air you'll often incur an additional deco obligation using trimix)
