Long Hose Regulator pulls uncomfortably, any suggestions?

I have the Miflex 7' hose on my singles reg because it packs nicely for traveling, but I stayed with a standard rubber hose on my doubles regs. The other place the long Miflex hose is nice is one my right sidemount tank--it tucks nicely under the elastic bands, but deploys easily.
