Looks like what I need to to do is to route the hose tighter around my neck, with the slack at the lower portion of the body. If that doesn't work I will stow the hose under my weight belt or the harness.
The SS snap is what I would consider "normal" size, approximately 3" long. I have it fastened to the hose on a o-ring. It is not real tight and will move if needed, so I suppose it could move back over the right shoulder during the dive. Then back for stowing as necessary.
Now I have to get back into the water to test all this out. Going to Ginnie Springs the end of May, guided by Wendy (another thank you for that!) Can't wait.
