well im very thankful for all of the advice everyone has given me. i dont know if it makes a differance but i will be using a drysuit for all of my diving??

7 ft is minimum for cavern/cave,and possibly wreck,for single file air sharing.Till you get a can light or waist pocket just stowe the slack in the waistband.If your not doing dives as stated above,a 5 footer would be fine.
