Is that how it is used at scubaboard.

I picked it becos it signals going down and I'm getting into Scubaboard as if commencing a dive !

I've always been confused by that, as indeed it is a go-down symbol in diving, but a this-sucks symbol elsewhere. I think it may have started with World War II pilots signalling each other and ground crews, but they were trying to ascend for a mission rather than descend.

Anyway, your use was appropriate enough, but this is why I avoid using it. We have so many other smilies to play with. :cheering:

I believe you are referencing the links in El Orans Signature area?
(a) One is a click to send him a Personal Message - a wonderful idea of his which I just stole yesterday;
(b) One is a click to go to this Intros forum, which he and I include to invite all members to drop in and welcome new members - no experience needed, indeed - you can if you'd like to; and
(c) One is a click to see a group trip he's planned. I have one of those as well.
