Anyone know the water temps this time of the year for Loch Low Minn, in Tenn.?
Trying to determine if my suit is thick enough.

Thanks

It's usually low to mid 70's surface and about 60 degrees at 40' - 50' gets colder as you go into the trench. I dive a 5mil with hood and gloves there and only dive from Mid-June - early October.

Hope that helps.

Dove last weekend and those temps are about right. I was diving dry (my first drysuite dive!) and felt toasty warm, but I could tell by the feel on exposed skin that a 5 ml with a hood and gloves would be required. You could get by with less if you stayed real shallow, but whats the fun in that?
