I was diving this weekend in Boston Harbor Islands, the lobsters are there, just not in abundance. No keepers but lobster hunting wasn't my main objective this weekend.
Saw one over-sized lobster out of reach. I also measured lots of shorts (At least 5). Saw maybe 2-3 keepers that I couldn't get because I forgot my tickle stick and I am too cautious right now at the beginning of the season to stick my hand in a hole and rip a seal on my drysuit.
We were at 3.5 Fathom's Ledge and the other lobsters I saw were doing scallop dives off of Boston Light.
