Upping this to add Lady Denok in Indonesia has two single cabins.
I was just on this for Raja Ampat and took one of their single cabins. Trip report to come soon.

Great thread! It’s not so much that I mind sharing a room or personal space, it’s that I am a terribly light sleeper and can’t fall asleep or stay asleep if there’s any odd noise or snoring. And earplugs drive me crazy too lol.

How can you sleep on a liveaboard at all? I'm a light sleeper/insomniac and liveaboards are noisy at night, AFAIC. That doesn't stop me from going but I've had some horrible nights aboard.

It’s definitely touch and go! But as long as I’m not listening to another person snore breathe it’s usually not too bad. I just did a week long sailing charter in the BVI and slept decent apart from the ac clicking on and off and one night where the dingy was bumping against the hull. I sure envy my friends who have the gift of sleeping 😂

That's the beauty of the single cabin.. when you finally get to sleep at least you don't have to worry about your bunkmate stepping on your face at 2 am to get to the bathroom.

Use a white noise generator on your phone. Once you get used to sleeping with white noise it's easy to take it with you.
