I doved in the Philippines (Batangas) last year, my 3mm was plenty warm, my 5mm was too hot.
LOL.
Did you not read post #52?
She is/was talking her own experience.
How come people believing his/her experience as gospel truth!!!!

This is why I provide a concrete number so that people can decide what's cold for them. My experience of temperature is different from most peoples', I'm always cold at what people consider to be normal room temperature, and I'm only warm and happy when the temperature is over 80°F indoors.

I am also not swimming around a lot because I'm doing super macro photography with a diopter, so I'm spending a lot of time in one spot working on getting a focused photograph. However I was also cold during our black water dive tonight when the water temperature was 25° and we were swimming around quite a bit because there was not much to see.

There is a ridiculous biodiversity out here, I saw three species of chromodoris on one of the reefs today! It's also really cool how one dive site is sand with a few bits of coral and then you move over a couple hundred meters and it's a beautiful reef.

A lot of people have no concept on (1) cold tolerance is entirely based on individually (2) it takes time for the body to recover (3) multidives in one day is bad news for people who has low tolerance to coldness.
Same for the tolerance to heat and humidity.

Nudibranch is plentiful in Philippines. My record is 20 different one in one dive just over the other side of the channel ie. PG.

PG. You mean Puerto Galera? That’s another story. I was there in March 2019. The entire group froze their collective butts off. We were wearing rentals on top of our regular suits. I’d have to look at my computer to check temps but it was really chilly.

It is.
It is quite normal at that time of the yr in PG.
Plenty of divers made the same mistake believing Philippines is a "warm water destination".
I have experienced that a few times and make sure never make the same mistake again.

I want to post, but the internet situation is not ideal! I've been editing photos but the laptop isn't online. And I've been really exhausted from the diving. It's been a busy few days!

Relax and have a nice sleep.
Time is on your side.
You can always do that when you are back to the comfy at home.

I am only joking, doing 3 or 4 dives a day is exhausting. We will see them when we are ready. Have a great day.

Philippines is like this in many places. Also in Leyte Bohol PG. It's great to dive there I think you will be back. Bali and Lembeh in Indonesia also great.
