Wow! I can't believe everyone is this nice? Who'd have known all I had to do was show up naked?

But where are the rest of you? I got in at 3ish, got set up and settled in by 4am. I was awakened to the sound of streaming water on? or outside? my tent. Shortly after I hear comments about not having enough room to drive around "the jeep," a reference to my Liberty with OSU tags all over... about ten seconds later I hear a loud slamming sound followed by a loud "oh ****!" I was up in a hurry!

Lunch was awesome, tex mex was gone in record time but there is a second one waiting... Weather is sunny and gorgeous. Visibility is about 120', give or take a few. Thermocline is nipple level. Brian's girlfriend failed to materialize. After having some technical difficulty with my mask, I was offered the "sawed off" white cane for navigation, and a trade form of payment for a drysuit... These really are such nice people!

And just like the mysterious rubberbands, if you weren't here to get the whole story, you only get nuggets and your imagination can do the rest!

And if you are planning on showing up later for the night dive, no suits necessary as the group is hosting the first ever naked night dive!

And for those who didn't make the trek, we all know the ROE's: What goes to Gilboa ... stays at Gilboa! :coffee:

Great seeing y'all again. As for the slackers, think September - and a long table with a metal pole!

I'm packing the car! Be there in couple hours!

Unfortunately I had to leave before the post night dive festivities. I'm sure the stories will be rather entertaining to say the least. Several quotes from our diving cadre will become the stuff of Meet-n-Greet legend. But as Skyking stated, "What happens and Meet-n-Greet, stays at Meet-n-Greet"

I'm kicking myself for not staying. I could have used a few more dives....not to mention a beer or two. And I'm sure John and Ted kept everybody entertained into the wee hours of the morn.

Oh well, C YA at the next Meet-n-Greet. Until then, I'm sure we'll see some of you at the various dives sites over the summer....

Cheers

JC

I was expecting U to be there...

Catch U next time..

I was planning on it, but have an awful cold. Sore throat, watery eyes the whole miserable deal...

Sounds like you and everyone else had a great time.

I wonder if Mittendiver will wash the dry undies or sell that suit? Probably not.:rofl2: All I will say is, what a group!

BTW, I will have to remember the bottle melting, pretttyyy cool.
