Little Cayman pub crawl - Southern Cross, Kingston Bight, Sam's, Pirate's Point, Iggy, Beach Resort.

Notice I said "typically". Most diving is done from boats and asking for tanks gets you funny looks. Little Cayman isn't exactly bonaire and shore diving isn't accessible to you unless you have rental car to lug your stuff in.

This generally applies for all shore diving on LC, not just night shore diving. The basic challenge for most visitors is the economics versus just paying for a boat - for just 1 or 2 divers, it simply isn't cost effective unless the rental car is "free" because you needed it anyway because you're renting a house/condo/etc instead of staying at one of the quasi-inclusive 'Resorts'. This doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but rather that there's got to be some reason for choosing to do it on your own.

FWIW, I have a friend who has been to Sam McCoy's a couple of times and he has mentioned doing afternoon shore dives from there without renting a jeep. Not sure if he bicycles up to Cumber's or if he wades out carefully through the urchins (I think they're pretty thick down in this area). One of these years, we're going to hook up for a trip together...a week at Sam's then a week where I usually go on the Brac.

Correct - the entry at Sam's is urchin city & the wall there not the best on the Island. Also, the entry at the next house (stilt house) west of Sam's is very urchiny & not the best wall. East of Sam's just past the next large house is a track where you can access the beach & the first (last?) sites on Bloody Bay Wall - a few urchins here too but not too bad.

The best site near Sam's is Paradise Plunge which is (I think) the next marked site west of Sam's - you have to enter off the ironshore about 200 yards west of Sam's but it's not too bad. What we like to do is get in here & go along the wall west then come in over the sandflats & exit at the barge dock (Salt Rock) & walk back.

Another possible shore dive without a car could be off Paradise Villas next to the Ig if Paradise Divers are still operating out of the hanger & you can get tanks. There's a marked site on the wall with some spectacular chutes & tunnels & if you get your navigation right on the swim in you will pass the Soto Trader wreck (small barge) in the sandflats. Watch out for the often strong currents in this area.
