Hey everyone
it seems as though many of you have been to the 2 smaller cayman islands. I was wondering if any of you may have stayed at the southern cross club on little cayman. They are small cottages and from what i read on trip advisor no one has had a bad experience. I was just wondering if anyone has seen or stayed at this resort, and if so what you thought of it. My girlfriend and I are trying to plan a trip in Nov and are hoping to rule out any surprises. Any experience with the Dive op out of this resort.
I would appreciate any help
Thanks Drew

We have visited the Southern Cross Club when in LC just to see what it was like. Nice place, but more pricey than LCBR and the boats are smaller.

Just my 2 cents!

I had been meaning to go to SCC several years ago, back when Frank Slifka (NAUI #7923) had first transferred there. Frank has long since moved on, but you can see from this journal article written while Frank was at SCC that he's a top-notch guy and you get a flavor for the operation.

And insofar as costs, SCC isn't really out of line with any of the other similarly small resorts on Little Cayman (Pirate's Point and Sam McCoy's). The LCBR is bigger than all three of the others combined, so they naturally have economies of scale ... and tend to have bigger boats with more divers onboard. That's the price you pay for saving money by going to the local "BIG" outfit.
