You and your group are in for a treat. I was just there in February for our third trip, and once again had a great time.
Reef Divers does indeed head to the Brac to dive the Tibbets (a wreck renamed after the founder of LCBR) once each week, weather permitting. I have made three trips to LCBR and so far have passed on the trip all three times based on what I have heard from others who have gone. It's not that it isn't a good dive, but I prefer the excellent dives at LC to a decent wreck dive. And, of course, I don't have to pay extra for them.
A minor nit: the LCBR was built by Linton Tibbetts, OBE, whereas the 356 wreck was named after Keith Tibbetts.
They were (of course) related to each other ... I think cousins? IIRC, Keith died back in '96 (shortly before the 356 was sunk) and Linton died in 2011. The LCBR (and the Reef Divers operations) was owned/operated by Linton's son, Dan, who died suddently (suspected heart attack) in 2006, at age 53.
Sometimes many divers head off to the Tibbets leaving a smaller group at LCBR; this means they can visit sites less frequently visited that are appropriate for smaller groups. YMMV. Safe diving!
A good point! From my Brac visits, I already have 30+ dives on the wreck, so if I were staying on LC, I'd stay local .. especially if it were to mean a less crowded local boat that would permit some of the more obscure LC dive sites (fisheye fantasy, spash house, etc).
Of course, the best choice is to spend a week on Little Cayman ... and then a second week on Cayman Brac. You can justify it based on the airfare savings! ;-)
