List of members?

Hello admin guys,

May I ask, very respectfully, why we can't see a list of members? I'm trying to find a particular person to send a PM to and can't remember how their name was spelled.

Rather than trawl through threads to find a post by them, is there some other way I can search for a particular user?

To put it simply, people have tried to use the list to spam, data mine or otherwise do things which we feel may harm our user's privacy.

To search by partial username go to http://www.scubaboard.com/search.php? and enter the username (or portion of it) in the "Search by User Name" box, uncheck "Exact name" and search. You will see a list of matching posts and also a way to refine your search to specific users.
