I was deciding between apeks xtx50 and sp mk19evo g260. Not too late to make a swap, wanted easiest breathing and reliability with a turret, and sealed diaphragm.
Scubapro in a heartbeat. XTX50 is overrated IMO despite its rabid support on this forum.
My 2 psi.

Has anyone been using the mk19 evo with trimix? I have emailed SP to get it from the horses mouth.

I came across a post somewhere that says that Scubapro said mk17 not recommended for helium use, as it permeates the diaphragm and cracks plastic.
WOW. I literally was about to create a post asking the exact same question about mk17 and helium….what a strange coincidence.

The post you probably are referring to is this Reddit post:

I remember posts from years ago on here saying one of the members is a Scubapro guru. And to send regs to him for a rebuild/ tuning. Even new out the box. Who is this person? The user name may have staryed with an "R".

Thanks folks, have a good day.
Another guru was DA Aquamaster but he has not been on in a while. :(

MK19's and G260's work great with trimix! Just did a trimix dive with them yesterday. No problema!

The system won't let me private message him since I din't have 5 posts. I am sure I posted a lot back in the days when I was between here and thedecostop.

Is there any way to bypass this minimum as I am obviously not a spammer?

Thanks again!
Funny, same situation here. Had a thought, found an answer and wanted to DM someone, but haven't posted in over 10 years so wont let me in my old account. Now need another post or two to send a message.

Scuba Gaskets is a good source for kits. I'd be astounded if helium cracked plastic. It's an inert gaN
North East Scuba Supply used to sell kits as well. They were always a great place to work with, never bought a lot from them, but always a positive experience.

Not sure what @buddhasummer is doing anymore, but we used to do orders for parts and kits periodically with him.

He may not be doing it anymore as folks screwed him with not paying him for orders, and shipping also became problematic...

I’m still doing orders albeit on a smaller scale. I’m not trying to drum up “business” but if folk contact me I’m open. Due to issues of late with folk stiffing me I’m reluctant to deal with anyone I don’t know or who is not known to the board🙏🏻

I did just do an apeks order.
