I have a Xeo for about 3 years with about 100 dives with it. I am not a keen diver and I am diving OC on both recreational and technical. I have not tried Shearwater but I do like my Xeo in terms of both how it performs as well as the customer service that I have contacted before.

Had an XEO and hated it, green screen I could not see on startup. Small screen, tap tap tap. Hated it. Got a shearwater Petrel and love it. Bright enough for dive buddy to see and blind me as well. Easy to use, great service and quality product.Buying another as a backup.

It all boils down to what you want, and what you will "trade off" to have what you want..... Kind of like buying a car. Its what works for you...

(for me, its a Petrel.... oh, and a Toyota :cool2:)
