All of the Paul Humann books are great for ID'ing local fish and creatures.

My favorite book is Paul Humann & Ned Deloach's book REEF FISH Identification - Florida Caribbean Bahamas. I think you can get it directly from REEF.

I really like Ocean Watch... they have monthly classes are a real good rate.

If you buy the whole reef set... it's cheaper per book... $75 for the set is what I paid. Reef Fish, Reef Creature, Reef Coral in a nice case that holds them all.

As was said earlier... It's well worth it. It's the go to guide for sure.
