Lil Bit's Mom is well on her way!

So I figured I'd update y'all on my Momma's journey to the wet side. Yesterday, she left a note, finally informing my Father that she had taken the online dive course and would not be home for a few hours so that she could complete the first of her confined water dives. When I got off work, I drove over and watched the second half of her class and she did great! After some bantering and laughing about the method employed to inform my less than encouraging Dad about her desire to become certified, she headed home to her less than thrilled husband.
Still determined, she got up today and drove up to Hudson Grotto for her first Open Water Dive. Go her! I was going to join her but she reminded me that she was borrowing my fins and I don't know anyone who's fins are small enough for me to steal. So she went it solo and I was left craving to get wet.
Long story short, I'm so proud of my Mommy for sticking to her guns and following through, and now Dad is talking about getting certified himself. Pretty soon, he'll be the only one in the family who's not a card carrying member!
One more weekend Momma and then I'm getting you out there with me!

I might be more excited for my Momma than I was for myself, lol! There's talk of spending some time down in the Keys with the family over Christmas. I'm thinking Mom and I might have to steal away for an afternoon. . .

So anyway, I got to spend the day at Weeki Wachi watching my Mommy get her last dive out of the way. She did awsome! Go her! I am so proud! Now I just have to get her in the water with me!
