OK, am I loosing my mind or did half of this thread disappear??

At either rate..to make a long story short. Glo-toob won't give out the technical stuff to us civilians. But if anyone knows of a military person that has one of these then we can find out since it is on the back of the reflector card. Also you can see it or two miles, not that that really helps.

Did some searching tonight, since everyone is PMing me about the Glo-toob, and found this. Thought it was a pretty good review and it even gives the info that Glo-toob wouldn't give out. :11:

I have purchased light sticks at a good price if anyone wants to buy some give me a shout at the campout or anytime.

I just use the little AAA battery operated tank markers.

I dont like using strobes as tank markers, because a lot of people use them to mark exit points, and they could easily get confused. Also, for any trailing members, it can make it hard for their eyes to focus with the constant flashing.

Again, for me, thats just personal preference.
