You probably already know this but you can't check LiIon Batteries on airlines, must be carry on.

I use a padded reg bag for my light can, but once managed to mangled the light can clasp in transit - so now just use a bit of clothing around it all for added padding.

We just purchased a lowe case at best buy for around 20 that will hold the light head and goodman handle...been working great and can be put on while the light is attached to our bc's but is dangling dangerously.
