glad you got it resolved, that tech is likely to lose his certification and I bet that the shop that employed him will have a very difficult conversation with the Aqualung guys with a lot of hard questions to answer.....
You now see why it is standard practice in the US for the techs to hand the customers the old reg parts as proof of service or for some brands they're required to mail them back to the parent company. I think the mailing thing is slightly ridiculous, but if both of those hp seats weren't changed, that shop was just pocketing the money from those parts kits...
You now also see why almost every tech diver I know services their own regs or has them done by a buddy who has more time....
