I've lived in the south all my life (contary to the opinions of some who can't read a map) and I understand how difficult it can be.

"Damn, I've booked a w/end diving in the med the 17th and 18th."

Translation:

I'm fixing ta head over to the south of France fer a heap a diving on the 17th & 18th.

"However, If I can't go because the frogs are still being incompetend over recognition of my quals I might just have to come over for that too."

Translation:

A damned monkey wrench might get tossed in my plans, seems them French folks don't always know a c-card is a c-card. Cause mine's a PADI card, they might not let me go diving in France. Ifen that happens, I'll go to that thur show instead.
