yeah, I didn't know the rest of you guys were gonna be on such a late cebu pac flight back. I'm better off finding a hole in the wall and stay overnite and head back with Larry & Karl than pay for a car by myself all the way to TAC.

Probably, or get the cebu-pac flight back to Manila... and save a load on the van.

because donsol season is feb-april... AND there's no diving there - just snorkeling w/ the whalesharks are allowed

viz in the donsol area also is pretty short... zee literally swam head-on into a whaleshark coz he didn't see it until it was 10 feet in front of him

viz and diving is supposed to be better in leyte... plus all the other dive sites...

if i had caloy's money i'd trade donsol for sogod any day

Problem is that I already had my travel agent issue my ticket. I'm flying all PAL from HKG so I don't get shafted for excess luggage fees. But hiring a van by myself to Tacloban will likely offset any excess luggage savings! Heck I might just ferry it back to Cebu and stay overnite in Cebu.

edit: is there ANYTHING is Tacloban? Worth staying overnite? maybe I'll move my flight up to 9am on the 31st but take the van with you guys on the 30th

Tim - I'm fine with going on the 26th on my own from Hilongos. Car won't be as expensive as coming all the way from Tacloban.

But I'm roomless on the 30th. I'm waiting back from Peter at the other resort to see if they have a room available.
