Unscrew the point, if it's detachable and put it in you check in bag. Otherwise you may only get to piss off the fish with a blunt shaft after it's confiscated. Have fun on your trip!

You can try, but I'd think that the fine people with TSA might not look favorably on bringing long sharp spikes onto an airplane.
