Is there is added thermal protection using layers--for example lyca skin under a polartec skin or layering two polartec skins?

I have a lyca skin and two polartec skins-- I would rather not buy more neophene--I have a 7mm-14mm over torso for cold water.

I need something for warm water 6 days of multidives per day In the Caribbean in April.

I dove in May in Roatan and by the 3rd or 4th dive of the day I was cold with only a polartec skin.

Thanks for your help!

Short answer, nope. Actual answer without qualifying thermodynamic gobbleygook; it's not enough to make much, if any, difference.
Have you checked the classifieds section here for 0.5mm steamers?
How'd you wind up with 3 skins & no steamer? The critters are dang near the same price.
