Could you regularly update on this post the latest sea temperatures on your computer for the benefit of all dive tourists. It always seems to vary from the typically predicted values and makes selecting and packing the correct exposure protection a little difficult. Thanks.

Sharm is likely to be 21-22c at the moment. A degree colder north and a degree warmer south.

The water temperature is remarkably consistent year on year and looking at records you can reliably predict surface temperatures by just looking at the date.

According to several computers, water in Dahab is between 22° and 23° right now.

Dahab IME was 1 degree C colder than dives in Sharm.

Hi everybody,

Just returned from Sharm El Sheikh May 09 - May 16, glorious weather throughout the week, temperatures, mid day 33°C (91 F), 26 (78) at dusk and coolest 20 - 23 (68 - 73) at dawn.
Sea 26°C (78F) according to my dive computer, I was diving with a 5 mm semi-dry, one Italian dive-guide was sporting a light dry-suit.
Winds from moderate to one day of strong breeze.

Lots of people at my hotel Iberotel Club Fanara, many families with small children, good holiday atmosphere about, few divers but many snorkelers on the day boats to Ras Mo. and Tiran.

Happy holidays to all.
