I'm thinking of spending a week on Guraidhoo, right next to Maafushi. For the other week, which other island/atoll should I go?

I'm sorry but I don't know. I'd do a liveaboard myself.

Just got my Thailand Pass approved after initially denied. Huge stone off my chest! Now onto booking dives. It looks like most places share a number of dive boats that invariably go to either A. Racha islands, B. Phi Phi island, or C. King cruiser-shark point. Shore diving looks a bit dreadful. I'll skip Phi Phi since it's included in my LOB itinerary. Racha doesn't sound too interesting. Where else can I go other than C? Which dive shops go there?

I'm hoping to do some tech training to fill the time, maybe either PADI Tec 40 or TDI Decompression Procedure. I want to dive wrecks at ~40m plus extend my time below 20m and plan to do SDI Wreck in Coron soon. Have found one dive center (Kiwi Divers) offering Tec 40 and another (Sign Scuba) offering Deco Procedure but requires Sidemount and Adv Nitrox on top. First Buddies has retired, Ocean Zone is fully booked, the rest, including Blue Label Diving, has not responded.

The selection for day trip from Phuket is very limited.
Different agency has different requirement for tec training but I do not see why SM is an pre-requisite?
D'Divers(Gunter) in Coron is very very experience.

Change of plans again. Couldn't believe the cost of hotels on the Florida Keys. Will now look at the Philippines for half the cost of a week on the Keys.
How much is a bottle of SMB in Philippines?
The local "fire water" eg. Ginebra is lethal!

D'Divers is exactly the shop I plan on training with! Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Idk why SM or AN is required. Neither is listed on TDI's website.
