theres a b-29 in lake mead. the vis in mead is supposed to good, 40 ft or so. theres lots of wrecks and other stuff to check out.
I thought the B-29 was still off-limits. Has that changed lately? I think that would be a very interesting dive.
All info I see on the B-29 is that it's in like 300ft, when they found it at least, I know the lake level fluctuates but didn't think it was diveable at least for the recreational folks.

The B-29 was at 240 when they found it and the lake was full. At the rate it's going it will be within recreational limits within a year! It is still off limits. They renewed the restrictions this year. I think the restriction expires in Feb 06, but it will probably be renewed again. Unless this drought ends soon, we can all just hike to it in a few years.
