Just got back from the maiden trip of Lake Travis Scuba Lake Travis Scuba WEB_sam_2

And I must say,we were impressed ! Nice boat and a very personable captain.

This operation is a great asset to the Travis diving scene and Robert deserves to do well.

The dive was not so good. (Totally our fault) Lets just say that unless you know exactly where you want to be Travis has an awful lot of boring mudflats. :D

This is cool...thanks for the information....but still :( you did not extend an invite.

So did you miss it altogether...

The Scubaland group had more luck finding their dive target at Don Brod's Scuba Park. We tagged the GPS location of a medium sized boat, not the large houseboat.

Thanks for coming out on the maiden voyage, we will find that plant next time.

Correction to the web site in the original post, Lake Travis Scuba WEB_sam_2.

but the vis was really good though. Seriously, Robert's operation is first rate and Robert is a very nice guy who wants you to be safe and have fun. Isn't that what it is all about. Nice to have an operator on Travis who is on the same page.

Thanks Robert, see you next time...

Thanks for the kind words. I try to practice all the good things I have experienced during my dive travels and offer the divers the surface support and boat creature comforts that you should expect from a dive operation.

I think, just my observation after looking at the arial photo provided in an earlier post by Ian, your dive was a triangle over the flats and you just missed going over the edge when you were at each marker.

I will have a large print of the photo laminated for the next attempt.

Let me know when you want to go.

I was thinking LVX had previous dive GPS coordinates for the Shaker plant?
