I am going to be in Austin next weekend (from Dallas) and got permission from the wife to do a couple of dives on Saturday morning. Problem is, she doesn't dive, so I am looking for a dive buddy. I don't care where on Travis, would just like to get in the water.

Space is available on the morning charter on Saturday August 22 if you would like to dive some areas on the lake not accessible from shore.
You do not need a dive buddy as there are others on the charter to dive with or you can dive with the DM. Two divers scheduled for the charter are from the Dallas area.
We have been diving Shaker Plant, Oasis Wall north and south, and Starnes Island. Starnes Island offers grottos and treasure hunting for items dropped by guests of the party barges. Shaker Plant is the rock crushing plant used during construction of Mansfield Dam to create the lake, and Oasis Wall has large grottos and a unique hole with stalactites.
