If you're diving Travis this weekend, plan on having low vis unless you go deeper than 75'...conditions in the upper water column at the dam were fairly dismal this afternoon.

Tons of particulate...

layer, the vis opened up noticeably at 75'...

Altho it was only ~10+'...compared to the nasty stuff above, it looked pretty good.

Sorry, can't give you details below 85'. There were 'issues' on the dive...

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about issues, been there and did that. I always make dives with buds that know the golden rule: Anyone can thumb the dive for any reason at anytime, WITHOUT any guilt layed on them. Sounds like the vis layer is moving downwards. Did you notice what the temp was when the vis opened up?
