Doc, I didn't get to make the dive!!!! Babysitting issues. Four in the club did make it and said temp was 46. Im bummed I didn't get to go, but I'll be doing NC wrecks in two weeks. I think that will make up for not getting in the water today. You'll have to fill us in after your dives tomorrow.

How long will you be in the DC area? I'd like to plan another group dive sometime in late April, maybe we could all plan to meet and cook out.

Four of us did make it. Turned out to be a right decent day. Sun could have been brighter but you can't have everything. Those that did turn out were BabyDuck, ncknightdiver, jaediver, and myself. We had a great time. The water was 48 degrees. Vis was about 25 ft or so. We did a nice 38 minute dive on the west wall. We were about the only divers there at the time. Turned out to be a great day for us. I hope you guys had a great day today doc. I'm with suthnbelle on the dive/cook-out get together.

I decided to head out to Rawlings this morning... a high of 65 degrees just seemed too good to pass up.

Whew! :ice: it was a bit on the cool side below the surface. Doc and his group made me feel welcome, though I was the only one in a wet suit, and not diving doubles. ( can you say stroke :D )

However, I got to listen to alot of funny and interesting stories, got a dive in, and am glad I made the trip.

hey, i'm glad you got in a dive, ken! i had fun yesterday, vertigo notwithstanding. chilly, but not as bad as i was dreading it would be. and yes, we *can* say 'stroke', right, jason?;)

Ken, glad you got a dive in. Wish you could have made it out on Saturday.
What's a stroke Marci? ;)

Ken,

Glad you could make it. :devil_3: You've been infected. In about a week you're going to feel an uncontrollable urge to double up your steel tanks, and begin hanging out on webpages of drysuit manufacturers! It gets worse. Then you start to ponder how diving would be with scooters! :D Welcome to the dark side...

See you next time,

Doc

Mel, Jason - everyone - I "third" it about the late April - or mid April - how about 4/16 - day after "tax" day?? It would be great to plan an all day - diving and cook-out. Ken - glad you're back in the swim of things! Doc - look forward to meeting you sometime.
