Have a great time in Key Largo though! I am sure we'll all be thinking of you as we exit the 58 degree water ;)

Ken

Ken, take some photos tomorrow so they can be posted on Dale's site. You guys have a great time and think of me sitting in my office tomorrow absorbed in files. Maybe not absorbed, because I'm sure I'll be on SB occasionally. ;)

I can relate to the goofy thing, as you can well imagine ;) I usually do something memorable each trip. :eyebrow:

My last trip to the Bahamas it was my nylon "dry" bag which I insisted :crafty: was absolutely dry, (which it was, for rain or splashes) so my dive buddy and the dive master hung it over the side of the boat on a rope... I lost that bet. :11:

Congrats on getting your own gear as well!

Dry bag! That reminds me, I need to get one of those before the trip. I'm excited about the new gear. I haven't gotten it yet but should be here on Monday. I really wanted to try it out for the first time at Rawlings, but you can't always get what you want. This is my first boat diving trip so if you guys think of any advice feel free to let me know. All my diving so far has been Florida springs, a couple shore dives in CA, and the lovely Rolesville quarry.

Also, when you guys are together tomorrow start thinking about our next get together.

Mel...if you gotta puke, do it down wind

I'll see you guys at the quarry in the morning. I can't find my tarp for some reason so hopefully we'll have enough there. I'm bringing my digital camera that I don't have a housing for and my underwater film camera...so maybe I'll get some shots too. Also, Jason I have that extra hooded vest.

There may be somebody from Va coming that wants to practice wreck reel stuff so we might do some land activities at some point.

Yep, I got one. I'll see you guys in the morning.

Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had 8 people that stayed for at least 2 dives. The weather and the viz were awesome. Hopefully we'll have some pictures posted on wreckmaniac.com soon....hint hint Ken ;)

Thanks to all who showed up and made it a great day! Ken especially, arriving at the crack of dawn to get the primo location! And he was pessimistic: it was only 59 degrees at the bottom! "A good time was had by all" - even the VA folks (thanks WreckGoddess! and Don). As a lot of us said, a prime location for some camping and longer discussions on the merits of.....
