I checked the conditions thread, but there don't appear to be many reports on Lake Murray in the past month or so. Has anyone been? If so, what were the conditions? (I almost shudder to ask...I think I can guess.)

A few of us CDOTers and fellow Swampers are making a run for the Lake on Sunday, Oct. 24. Feel free to join in on the fun and meet up with us there. Nothing fancy, just a stab at some late season gettin' wet time! Hope to see ya'll there!

I know IARTD (local dive shop in Grand Prairie) guys were out there a few weeks back doing a lake clean up, you might give them a call, but I seem to recall they were saying vis was 5-10ft over at Marietta Landing.

Murky is such a negative term Bill. Let's try to be a little more positive.

I wish I could go diving with y'all; but alas! I am too busy this weekend. I haven't been to Murray in forever. and oh yea . . . . . . . .

Go Rangers ! ! !

Okay, so instead of "murky", we substitute "rich in colloidal properties"...;) Regardless, we'll miss seeing ya' at the lake! Hopefully, next time.

And roger that on the CHAMPION TEXAS RANGERS!!!!

Gotta count me out ....I'll bet Lake Murray will be a mess with all the rain.
It does not matter to Oklahoma Lakes & the Sky that The Rangers are the best. they don't care.......
Besides....I'm still in full scale party mode after that last game and I'm not even a Baseball fan.

LOL, I'm with you Timeliner....I'm more of a football/basketball (Cowboys/Mavs) fan, but I was full celebrating the Rangers win last night. I'll definitely watch the World Series this year.

Sorry that I could add nothing constructive or informative to your post, Bill, just responding to TL.

Take care.
