Don and I are planning to spend a few days at the Short Stay Naval Recreation Area which is on Lake Moultrie near Charleston, SC. We will check in on October 01! They told me that you can dive in the lake. Another source said that there were historical sights only accessible to divers. But, I have not been able to find out anything more.
Would like to know more about the diving as well as the best place to rent tanks, etc. since We will probably leave our tanks in Michigan for the winter!We head back to Hilton Head on September 25th and plan to stay until mid May. Can't wait, although I am not missing the current heat wave!
