What does the dive community know about Lake Medina (NW o' San Antonio) ?? I am curious to know if the diving is good or bad. Available or not? Any other issues an adventurous scuba diver should know about?

Thanks,

Joes Place Mico Medina Lake. Vis same as Canyon and Travis. Sometimes great, sometimes not so good. Right now 5' above 40' and 15' down to 70' worse past that. Stuff to see sailboats, cars, vans, training platforms, some grottos, and better (if you have a boat).
My favorite 1/2 day dive. Close to home, no reservation necessary, and much more interesting than the Comal River.

Wow! Thanks. I had no idea. Sounds like fun. . . . . . .ok. You talked me into it. I am going to start making plans.
