I bought a aftermarket battery for the xj14/37, and I had to add approx 2kg.

Fresh or salt water?

Just to get to the same weight as the original battery, I still had to use the Saltwater-weight for ocean-diving.
It seems like you got a really good deal on your package..

That's about what I added. Seems the Li batteries are a little lighter than the NiMH chemistry.

I used these on the central post:

Got them off Amazon. So, 2.5# plus the included 1# weight.

I just put a 3lbs soft weight on top of the battery.
