I live on lake LBJ and have always heard about a row of tall (30ft) oak trees that runs between lighthouse Dr. and the dam in water roughly 60-80ft down. Probably a risky proposition since it sounds hazardous but it has always intrigued me.

Sry to bring an old thread back.... but I will be at LBJ until wed. of next week. Anyone want to give LBJ a whirl?

I stayed at Lake LBJ last year and asked the same question. Decided not to take the dive gear.
We went up the Llano river channel and found that the river is clear but shallow. (Nice sandy beach area up there)
